It is a hugely in demand car that has become a real favourite in the compact SUV market and the latest tweaks and upgrades are sure to ensure it remains on top of the sector.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport is a seven-seat, premium compact SUV replacement for the much-loved Freelander model.
What makes the new Discovery Sport stand out even more so is the new 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engines that are under the bonnets, meaning that it is now notably more efficient than before. The updated model can return up to 57.7mpg and emit only 129g/km of CO2.
The rest of the Land Rover remains unchanged, so the driver will still get excellent 4x4 capabilities off road and excellent handling and high-speed control on the tarmac.
Perhaps the biggest selling point on the new Discovery Sport is the new 5+2 seating arrangement, meaning there is room for an extra two passengers. This is available on every Discovery Sport except the entry-level model. No other compact SUV can offer this, so it is already ahead of its rivals in that respect.
Other less noticeable but very handy extras on the new car is the USB charging ports and climate control in all three rows of the seven-seat model and an external pedestrian airbag for additional safety.
