The world's car manufacturers flock to the Swiss city of Geneva for the annual International Motor Show to show off their concepts and new models for the future.
Land Rover was no exception, showing off not only the great range of models already available, but also the chance for European viewers to get a first look at a new version of one of our best-selling cars.
Range Rover’s Evoque has been exceedingly popular since its release in 2011 and the latest edition breaks new ground in the SUV market. The centrepiece of the Land Rover stand, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be appearing on the UK's roads this April.
The Evoque’s distinctive design is maintained in this new shape, with the Z-Fold convertible roof system suiting the design of the car either up or down. The roof can be folded up or away at speeds up to 30 mph, so if the weather changes quickly, it shouldn’t be a problem. Despite the folding roof being stored in the rear, the luggage space is very good for a convertible, with the folded roof lying on top of the boot compartment, leaving 251 litres of space underneath.
It wasn't just about the new Evoque Convertible though, as all of Land Rover's current range was on show for visitors to the Palexpo exhibition centre in Geneva. This included the new, award-winning Discovery Sport, the Range Rover Sport and the stunning two-tone Range Rover Autobiography.
